Bridging business, technology, and AI for over two decades.
I've spent more than 25 years helping organisations understand how they work — and how they could work better. My career has always focused on connecting strategy, process, and technology to deliver practical, measurable improvement. Today, that focus has evolved into helping companies adopt and apply AI intelligently — combining experience in business analysis, system design, data governance, and hands-on technical delivery with a deep understanding of current AI capabilities.
Background
My career began in software and systems development in the late 1990s, working with creative and technology-focused businesses that needed to modernise their operations. I built and sold applications in creative and medical sectors and gained experience across the entire lifecycle — design, development, deployment, and ongoing support.
Over time, I moved from building individual systems to helping entire organisations rethink how they worked — mapping processes, analysing data flows, and designing smarter, more resilient operating models. That blend of business transformation and technical delivery is still at the core of what I do.
The AI Shift
When ChatGPT was released, it was immediately clear that this wasn't just another tool — it was the start of a structural shift in how decisions are made, how work moves, and how value is created. I made it my job to go all in.
Since then, I've focused on:
- How modern AI models are trained, fine-tuned, and deployed.
- How to build and integrate AI assistants, automations, and retrieval-augmented systems.
- How to embed governance, policy, audit trails, and data control into those systems.
- How AI is reshaping industries, investment priorities, regulation, and competitive advantage.
That combination — business structure + technical depth + up-to-date AI awareness — is what lets me guide companies responsibly.
Philosophy
AI transformation isn't about chasing hype or replacing people. It's about designing better ways of working. No amount of automation can succeed without clarity in process, data, ownership, and decision-making. That's why my approach blends deep organisational analysis with precise technical design and proof-of-value delivery.
Principles
- Business first, technology second — but never separate.
- Governance is what makes AI sustainable.
- Proof before scale.
- Human + AI collaboration, not blind automation.
- Continuous learning — the landscape changes weekly, and your approach has to track it.
The goal isn't just to deliver AI systems — it's to create organisations that can continuously learn, adapt, and improve. My clients gain the skills, tools, and frameworks to keep evolving long after the project is complete.
I work with leadership teams who want to approach AI intelligently — building readiness, preparing data, designing systems, and proving what works with governance built in. If that's what you're trying to achieve, we should talk.
The Ecosystem I Work With
I work hands-on with today's most advanced AI, automation, and data platforms — integrating them into real business systems. This ensures your strategy is always built on current, proven technology, not theory.
